You never really know too much
about Chase Field until you actually visit chase field. When I stepped inside
Chase Field on the morning tour, I really did not know what to expect. I mean,
I did not even know that Chase Field held tours, but it sounded like a good
idea and a great story to write about the magnificent baseball field that I saw
countless times when in downtown
Phoenix.
The tour
was great. I had read some different reviews about the tours, but nothing
really prepared me for being inside Chasse Field with only a few people there.
I was able to see how they maintained the field, had a very nice tour around
the stadium, and then was led to the luxury and box office suites. The suites were nice, but what was even
nicer, were the facts about the Diamondbacks and the history around the stadium
itself. Now every tour is different, so this added some excitement to come
back. Not only are the tours different, but this is a family friendly fun event
that the entire family can do together. There was a child who was just walking
who was welcomed with a friendly face from our tour guide.
On the tour
I went on we actually went inside the dugout. It was simply amazing to be in
the dugout and imagine all of the screaming Diamondback fans cheering you on.
It is a experience that really needs to be felt to understand the magnitude of
what the players must feel like before leaving the dugout and stepping on field
to perform hits that could make the headlines.
Some other
fun things on the tour was the pool on Chase Field, watching a funny video with
Baxter, the Diamondbacks mascot, and just the quiet and soothing atmosphere of
Chase Field. At the entrance there is a lot of
Arizona state history involved with the
tour, and it was a great experience.
The tours
are only $6 and with the tour on the back of your ticket you get coupons and
discounts to be used. It is quite a deal and is a great family event as well as
a great event for groups. Baseball enthusiasts are highly recommended to go on
a Chase Field tour as it is an experience you will remember. |
